Evening Classes

I teach adult education classes for South Devon College in silver jewellery making and enamelling. These are evening classes and usually run on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There are 4 upcoming courses are as follows:


1 - Enamel earrings and pendants

this is a five week course on torch fired enamel for beginners. we will be working with enamel and copper doiong a bit of cloisonne and using painting enamels to make earrings and pendants. It takes place on Monday evenings from 18:30 - 20:30 and is at the Torquay campus (next to lidl and the hospital). the start date is Monday the 15th of January.

2 - Silver Jewellery Stone Set ring

This is a five week course for beginners, working with silver we will make a ring set with a cabochon stone in a rub over bezel setting. It takes place on Monday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30 and is at the Torquay campus (next to Lidl and the hospital). Start date is March/April 2024 details to follow. 3 - Silver Jewellery - Textured Rings and Bangles Entry Level

This is a ten week course for mixed levels of ability, working with silver or copper. It takes place on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 and is at the Torquay campus (next to Lidl and the hospital). Start date is wednesday the 17th of January. 4 - Silver Jewellery for Improvers

This is a ten week course for mixed levels of ability, working with silver or copper. It takes place on Wednesday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30 and is at the Torquay campus (next to Lidl and the hospital). Start date is the 17th of January 2024. 5 Torch fired enamel pendants

This is a five week beginners course on enamelling on copper using a gas torch on Monday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30 and is at the Torquay campus (next to Lidl and the hospital). Start date is to be arranged.
